And because we know that you guys prefer to drink your coffee with non-dairy milks these days, we’ve found the perfect recipe to help you celebrate the day without upsetting your stomach....
Almond Milk Frappe Recipe:
What you need:
1. Espresso - Works best with the nutty almond milk. If not available, use extremely strong brewed coffee.
2. Almond Milk - This dairy-free nut milk option adds to the thickness and creamy flavor of the drink.
3. Sugar - For this recipe, try using granulated sugar, light brown sugar, or cane sugar for sweetness.
4. Almond Extract - Make sure it is pure almond extract. Only a small amount is needed for flavor.
5. Ice - Definitely needed since we are making a frozen drink.
In a blender pitcher, add in the espresso, almond milk, sugar, almond extract, and ice. Blend on low speed before increasing to high during the last second until smooth.
Pour the frappe in one large glass or two medium glasses and serve immediately. For a little something extra, add some whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Enjoy!
