This Traditional Christmas Plum Pudding is made from an inherited, prize winning recipe, handmade in the old fashioned manner to preserve the flavour of the fruit and ingredients. The quality ingredients create a very moist Pudding which is hung to dry and mature in the traditional style. The Pudding is fully cooked and ready to serve but can be reheated if desired.
Delicious served warm with ice cream, custard!
Prior to opening, store in pantry or cupboard away from direct heat and sunlight.
This Pudding is fully cooked.
Microwave: (Preferred method – based on 1000W
microwave oven). Remove outer cloth and pierce inner bag in 3 places with a fork. Reheat whole Pudding on medium power for approx 60 seconds per 500g or individual slices for approx 20 seconds per 100g. Check during reheating to avoid overheating. This based on a 1000w microwave.
Boiling: Remove outer cloth and immerse vacuum sealed bag
in boiling water for approx 30min per 500g. Open onto a serving plate with care because contents will be hot.
